Clay Brooker – Country Music Artist & Singer-Songwriter
Hailing from Waldo, Florida, Clay Brooker has been carving his path in country music since his teenage years. With a voice steeped in Southern grit and heart, and songs that blend raw honesty with lived-in storytelling, Clay brings an authentic energy to every stage he steps on.
From the moment he picked up his first guitar at 14, Clay was hooked—cutting his teeth on songs by country legends like Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard, Vern Gosdin, and Garth Brooks. Those early influences shaped his signature sound: a mix of traditional country soul and Southern rock swagger that feels both timeless and fresh.
Over the past decade, Clay has built his reputation the old-fashioned way—playing 1 to 5 nights a week across Florida and the Southeast. His shows range from intimate acoustic sets to full-throttle, “cranked-to-10” band performances that keep crowds coming back for more. Based out of Gainesville, Florida, Clay has become a local favorite at major events including the Suwannee River Jam, Florida Gator tailgates, and countless college and community gatherings.
In 2018, Clay took his music to the next level, recording at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The result was his debut EP, Between a Sinner and a Saint, released in January 2019 to strong reception—earning over 20,000 streams on Spotify in its first month. The record captures the heart of who Clay is as an artist: a storyteller caught between the rowdy and the reverent, the sinner and the saint.
Now, as Clay continues to write, record, and perform across the country, he’s bringing his authentic country sound to new audiences—one song, one stage, and one story at a time.
